At Black Event Professionals of Arizona (BEPA), we are dedicated to fostering a supportive and empowering community for event professionals. As a vibrant new nonprofit organization, we are thrilled to announce our inaugural educational event planning annual conference. This pivotal initiative aims to benefit our members and the broader events industry by providing essential resources and networking opportunities.

Why Apply for the BEPA Generational Curse Breakers CMP Scholarship?

We are seeking passionate and qualified Black event planners to apply for our BEPA Generational Curse Breakers CMP Scholarship Program. This scholarship is designed for individuals who:

• Exemplify excellence in event planning and management.

• Demonstrate leadership within their community.

• Show a commitment to professional development and community service.

Eligibility Criteria:

To be considered for this scholarship, applicants must:

1. Identify as a Black event planner.

2. Provide a resume, Letter of recommendation, and a completed application

3. Be unable to afford the costs associated with the CMP (Certified Meeting Professional) certification.

4. Show evidence of involvement and leadership in community initiatives.

Scholarship Benefits

The scholarship will cover the following costs associated with obtaining CMP certification, which can often be a significant barrier to entry:

- CMP Application Submission Fee: $350 USD (non-refundable)

- CMP Exam Fee: $525 USD (non-refundable)
